Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how The Zoom-In Profile, operated by Robin Engelman, PhD / Happier Hour® ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and stores information when you take the assessment or purchase a Stress Signature Report. By using this assessment, you agree to the practices described here.

What We Collect

When you take the Zoom-In Profile, we collect:

• Your quiz responses and calculated scores across all ten stress pattern categories
• Your self-reported stress level at the time of taking the assessment
• Optional demographic information including age range and gender, if provided
• Your first name and email address, if you choose to receive a report
• Your accuracy rating of the results, if you choose to provide one
• The date and time of your submission

If you purchase a Stress Signature Report, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. During checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and credit card information. We do not have access to your credit card number. We do receive the following information from Stripe upon completed payment: your full name, email address, and billing address. This information is stored in our Stripe account and is used only to process your transaction and deliver your report. Stripe's privacy policy can be viewed at stripe.com/privacy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Generate and deliver your personalized Stress Signature Report
• Improve the accuracy and quality of the assessment over time
• Conduct research on stress patterns, with data used only in anonymized, aggregate form
• Contact you for follow-up research participation, such as retesting, if you have consented to this

We will never sell your personal information to third parties. We will never share your individual results without your explicit permission.

Research and Anonymized Data

We may use anonymized, aggregated data from quiz responses for research purposes, including academic publication, conference presentations, or tool improvement. This means your individual responses may contribute to aggregate findings, but your name, email, and identifying information will never be included in any research output.

If you consented to research contact when taking the quiz, we may reach out to invite you to participate in follow-up studies, such as retaking the assessment to measure change over time. Participation is always voluntary and you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at robin@happierhour.com.

Data Storage

Your quiz responses and report data are stored securely in Airtable, a cloud-based database service. Your data is retained indefinitely to support longitudinal research and to allow you to reference your results over time. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw consent for research contact at any time

Cookies and Tracking

This assessment does not use cookies or tracking technologies. We do not use analytics services or advertising trackers.

Children's Privacy

The Zoom-In Profile is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the assessment after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
